Education

P. Venkatraman (Venkat) has a B.Com from the University of Bombay. Venkat is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He is also an early starter in the field of Computer Sciences and is a Mensa certificate holder.

P. Venkatraman is the founder CEO of Vital Link Outsourcing an International BPO with niche service offerings. A Visionary in the emerging area of BPO in India, he founded Vital Link Outsourcing in 1998 and has been steering its growth path ever since. The UK accounting practice is personally spearheaded by him and receives a lot of attention from him.

Vital Link Outsourcing has been one of the earliest pioneers in the world of Internet Content. Starting well before the dot.com boom, Vital Link has been working closely with Web Masters worldwide to strategize and deliver compelling content that gives its clients a competitive edge.

With more than a decade of hands on exposure, Venkat has seen it all in the world of Internet content from its early nascent stage.

In the world of academics, he is a Professor at the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management where he teaches Emerging Communication Technologies as a full subject to MBA (Marketing Communications) students.

Tech savvy with a short learning curve, he has vast experience of having worked in global collaborative environments. Well traveled, he straddles various cultures with relative ease. A go getter, with a high level of perseverance and a high sense of responsibility.

Venkat is an active member of leading organizations like The Computer Society of India, The IT Enabled Services of the Electronics and Software Export Promotion Council of the Ministry of Information Technology of the Government of India, The Bombay Management Association, The Bombay Chartered Accountants Society and others.

He believes in giving back to Society in the form of promoting and developing Entrepreneurship. He is a Charter Member of The Indus Entrepreneur Network – Mumbai Chapter. http://mumbai.tie.org/ He is also a Judge in the Eureka Business Plan competition http://ecell.in/ and a Mentor at the IIT, Bombay Campus for budding entrepreneurs.

Venkat lives in Mumbai and his family consists of his wife Varalakshmi who is a practicing solicitor and two sons who are still educating themselves.

He is an avid long distance runner, an active Freemason and a Ham Radio operator.

Narayan S Bhargava

Education: Graduated in Commerce from Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics in the year 1975. After graduation pursued articleship with G.N.Joshi & Co. Chartered Accountants. During Articleship he was the member of the Students Council of Western India Regional Council. After passing Chartered Accountancy started practice in the name of N.S.Bhargava & Co.

Key Competencies: Mr. Bhargava, during the last 29 years has gained wide experience in the field of loan syndication, Merchant Banking, Management of Public issues etc. He is a regular contributor at CA, Income Tax and other seminars and has written various articles for magazines & newspapers. He is also the Promoter and Director of Shell Transource Ltd. (STL), one of India’s biggest Domestic BPO in the field of Transaction processing, which directly or indirectly employs about 3000 people.

Mrs. Varalakshmi Venkatraman

Education: After having completed her Bachelors of Sciences (Chemistry) from Bombay University, Mrs Varalakshmi pursued her Bachelors of Law (L.L.B) from the Government Law College in Bombay. Having achieved a third rank in her L.L.B, she went on to be a Solicitor from The Bombay Incorporated Law Society.

Key Competencies: Mrs. Varalakshmi's rich corporate background and her experience in structuring complex deals are of vital importance to the organization.
